Code of ethics

“Ensuring that each of us acts with integrity every day is essential. It is the very essence of our work as inspectors and the heart of our ambition as a conformity assessment body, founded on the trust of our clients.”

Our values

  • Team spirit — being a responsible, reliable and committed partner, treating our clients as we treat one another: listening, co-construction, transparency and solidarity;
  • Innovation — constantly improving the client experience by adapting our practices and drawing on technological innovation;
  • Commitment — attaching as much importance to how results are obtained as to the results themselves.

Rules of conduct

  • act with professionalism, impartiality, independence and objectivity;
  • report any factor liable to influence professional judgement, and immediately inform management of any pressure — even indirect — that could affect impartiality;
  • accept no gift, commission or advantage from organisations whose products are inspected;
  • guarantee the confidentiality of information, during and after the employment contract;
  • follow the safety instructions of every assignment and site;
  • hold no direct or indirect interest in a competing, client or subcontracting company without the employer's consent.

Market integrity, conflicts of interest and right of alert

Everyone refrains from any conduct liable to distort free competition or mislead market players and regulators; insider dealing, unlawful disclosure of confidential information and price manipulation are strictly prohibited. Personal interests must not conflict with the company's interests: any potential conflict is declared to the line manager and/or the ethics referent. Every employee also has a right of alert — to speak up when there are reasonable grounds to believe that instructions, processes or situations do not comply with the rules governing our activities.
