Conformity inspection of industrial equipment and facilities, statutory safety inspections, manufacturing surveillance.

NORMISO inspects the conformity of industrial equipment and facilities with the applicable regulations and standards, as an ALGERAC-accredited type A inspection body (ISO/IEC 17020) and under ARH prequalification No. 19 for the hydrocarbon sector:

• statutory periodic inspection of pressure equipment — gas and steam (APG/APV), under Ministry of Energy and Mines approval No. 22/2016;
• inspection of lifting appliances (APL): forklifts, overhead cranes, hoists, lifts;
• inspection of electrical installations and equipment (APE);
• pre-commissioning, periodic and post-modification inspections;
• manufacturing surveillance and expediting.

Each assignment results in an official report recognised by the authorities.

Radiography, ultrasonics, magnetic particle, penetrant and visual testing of welds and materials, on site or in the workshop.

Our certified NDT inspectors (level II) apply the five techniques covered by our ALGERAC accreditation and Ministry of Energy and Mines approval No. 18/2016:

• radiographic testing (RT) — X and gamma;
• ultrasonic testing (UT);
• magnetic particle testing (MT);
• penetrant testing (PT);
• visual testing (VT).

On welded assemblies, piping, storage tanks and industrial structures — during fabrication, in service or after repair, according to ASME, AWS and ISO codes.

Assessment and certification of product conformity under ISO/IEC 17065, ALGERAC accredited.

As a product certification body accredited by ALGERAC under ISO/IEC 17065 (certificate No. 3-2-001), NORMISO assesses and certifies product conformity:

• current accredited scope: steel products — reinforcing bars and merchant bars (ISO 10144, NA 8634, EN 10025…);
• documented certification schemes, impartial evaluation and decision;
• surveillance of certified products and clear rules for using the certificate;
• an appeals and complaints process open to all applicants.

Approval before installation and statutory inspection at commissioning — provisional and final reports.

NORMISO is designated by the Ministry of Housing, Town Planning and the City for lift conformity assessment:

• approval of lift models before installation;
• statutory inspection at commissioning — provisional then final report;
• periodic in-service inspections (EN 81-20 / EN 81-50, ISO 17893);
• inspection after significant modification or accident.

An approved category A environmental studies office (Ministry of the Environment decision of 13/07/2025) and ARH-prequalified for hydrocarbon-sector studies, NORMISO delivers:

• environmental audits, environment plans, green-space and waste-management studies.

Through our UAR-approved expert (approval No. 077/04 — hulls and marine facilities), NORMISO performs:

• condition and damage surveys of ships;
